30th Annual State Forest Cleanup is Planned

After a long winter, the F. Gilbert Hills State Forest in Foxboro is scheduled to receive its 30th annual spring cleanup on Saturday April 22nd from 9AM to 12PM.

Volunteers are invited to join The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Staff and members of the State Forest Advisory Council for a morning of fresh air and rewarding outdoors work. The group will meet at the Forest Headquarters, 45 Mill Street, at 9AM. Volunteers should bring work gloves and sturdy footwear. Trash bags and hand tools will be provided.

For further information, contact the DCR Staff at the State Forest: 508-543-9084.

F. Gilbert Hills S.P. is the site of NEOC's High Rock map. We've had meets there every year since 2012, including our 2016 A-Meet.
