Welcome to the final event of the 2023 Spring Park-O Thursday (SPOT) series at Pine Banks!

This year the Park-O series will be a set of 7-8 in-person events in Greater Boston area parks on Thursday evenings from April 20 to June 8. 

Time: Start times are from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Registration: Pre-registration will be required for all events no later than the Tuesday (2 days) before. Sign up for the whole series at once or for individual events. We will print maps based on numbers of registered runners.

Courses: Advanced and Beginner. These are short courses suitable for evening races so Advanced courses will be between 1.5-3.5 km with 10-15 minute winning times, while Beginner courses will be between 1-2 km. 

Fees: Since Cambridge Sports Union (CSU) is the primary organizer of the Park-O series, NEOC membership does not cover start fees. Fees for all participants: 

Individual: $6/event or $30/series  --  Family: $15/event or $75/series

Results: Overall times and split-times for each checkpoint will be available online after the event. Points will be awarded on the longer course, based on 20 points for 1st place, 19 points for 2nd place and so on regardless of age or gender. Your top 4 events count towards your total points score (i.e. 80 points max).
