If you're like most orienteers you are looking to use your limited vacation time and money to do as much orienteering as possible. The Rochester Orienteering has designed this year's OUSA Convention Week with you in mind. Wedged in between five “A” meet events in Syracuse and Buffalo from August 1-5 ROC will offer you four E-punch sprints, and four days of training courses on four different maps. In addition we will throw in a Bike O, Canoe O, Night O and Trail O. All these orienteering events will be covered by one all-inclusive Convention fee.
We will also be hosting the OUSA Trial Orienteering Championships at the end of the week. In addition we will be offering a Level 1 Coaches Certification Course, a junior camp, a mapmaking workshop, a youth camp and baby-sitting.
We are also interested in adding additional workshops and events during the week. If you are interested please send me [the event organizers] an e-mail with a brief description of what you have in mind.
NEOC events are held rain or shine.
(Ski-O events may be canceled if snow is poor.)
