Prouty Woods (Littleton, MA): Join folks who have ventured into the early winter season woods at our new map and event location. There are four BYOM courses: White, Yellow, Orange, and Get-Em-All (28-control score-O). This event runs through December 10.
Dec. 16: Score-O (3:00 mass start) and Social (4:30 - 7:30): Join us mid-afternoon for courses at Historic Beaver Brook (Watham/Belmont line) followed by a "Mappy Hour" social at Trinktisch in Belmont center. Of course you can choose to just orienteer, or just socialize! The event is free for everyone but we need you to sign-up so that we can prepare enough maps. If you are not a NEOC member, please just sign up and then bring the waiver. • We have a room reserved for us orienteering folk, family, and friends at Trinktisch. You can see the Trinktisch menu here (be sure to click on the subtitles to see all the menu sections). It's about a five minute drive from Beaver Brook to Belmont Center. Really keen folks could even run or bike it! Trinktisch has a family-friendly menu and attitude, and we'll provide a few games for the young and young-at-heart.
2024 Event Planning: We are starting the 2024 event planning process now! Do you have any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions for events. Join us at the Dec. 16 social (noted above). We will have an in-progress schedule on display for you to weigh in on! Or send us an e-mail. Let us know.
