Directions:
From Boston area, take Route 2 West to Exit 24B. Go north on Route 140 for 1.1 miles, then turn right onto Colony Road (following signs for North Central Correctional Institution, or NCCI). After .1 miles, turn left as you face self-storage company. Follow road, entering grounds of NCCI after .6 miles. This may feel odd because NCCI is a prison, but keep going up hill, then bearing right. Ignore signs restricting access by visitors or unauthorized persons. Road will eventually pass through fields of High Ridge Wildlife Management Area – continue and park near old barn.
