NEOC Update 3/17/24

Spring 2024 here we go! Check out NEOC's updated homepage and visit the Event page for upcoming activities!. A few items to note for the upcoming month:

• March 30: Intro to Orienteering (Hopkington, MA) - NEOC is partnering with the MetroWest YMCA to host an Introduction to Orienteering. Participants of all ages can participate. Pre-registration is required in order to join the beginner training. Two sprint courses are also available to the public on the day and will be available later in the week as a Bring-your-own-Map event. Come check out this new map!
• The 2024 Winter Challenge is open to current NEOC members until the end of March. Details are included with your member card, emailed when you join/renew for 2024. Be sure to check out the comments from members on the spreadsheet before heading out! Courses have been designed at five locations around Massachusetts.

• Spring Park-O Thursday Series (SPOTS): Mark your calendars! CSU and NEOC are organizing a series of 8 Thursday evening spring park orienteering events in the Greater Boston Area. Pre-registration will be live soon. Register for the series or for just one of the events. Series runs April 18- June 13 at 6:00 PM. Registration and park locations coming soon!
