Prouty Woods (Littleton, MA): Get out into the woods in this early winter season. There are white, yellow and orange BYOM courses at a new location (and new map!) in Littleton, MA. This event is a BYOM event and runs December 2-10.
December Orienteering and Social (Saturday, December 16): Join us mid-afternoon for courses at Historic Beaver Brook (Watham/Belmont line) followed by a "Mappy Hour" social at Trinktisch in Belmont center. • "What is Mappy Hour?" you ask. We admit it, we borrowed the name from other organizations. For us, it's an informal gathering after a bit of orienteering. Folks can purchase food and/or drinks as they wish, and we have time to socialize somewhere warm. Of course you can choose to just orienteer, or just socialize! • On Dec. 16, we have a room reserved for us orienteering folk, family, and friends from 4:30 - 7:30. You can see the Trinktisch menu here (be sure to click on the subtitles to see all the menu sections). It's about a five minute drive from Beaver Brook to Belmont Center. Really keen folks could even run or bike it! Trinktisch has a family-friendly menu and attitude, and we'll provide a few games for the young and young-at-heart.
Pine Bluffs - Nov. 19 (Stow, MA): Join us for beginner, intermediate, and a long-intermediate course (zigzag) at this fun and friendly park in Stow, MA! Can you spare an hour to help? Please sign up (on the "Pine Bluffs" tab)!
